Bassist and bandleader Gary Crosby brings his latest brainchild to Turner Sims, a stunning 16-piece orchestra. Fusing jazz history and classical music, tonight they perform a remodelled version of Stravinsky's Ebony Concerto, alongside Peter Edwards' new piece, Blues Ostinata, along with his arrangement of British jazz composer Steve Williamson's How High The Bird, Maenads Suite by Binker Golding and other creations.

The Nu Civilisation Orchestra is a professional touring ensemble and part of the Tomorrow's Warriors at Southbank Centre weekend residency, as well as being Associate Artists at Turner Sims.
