Found playing children's songs on piano at the age of 18 months, Conrad Tao, now 17, made his concerto debut with the Utah Chamber Music Festival at age 8. Named a 2011 Presidential Scholar for the Arts by President Obama in a White House ceremony, his burgeoning career has already encompassed appearances with some of America's leading orchestras.  For his debut UK professional recital he brings a programme which includes Bach's joyful work to open and culminates in the fiery virtuosity of Stravinsky.
