The Department of Music at the University of Southampton is delighted to host the John Ireland Prize, delivered in partnership with the John Ireland Trust. Our student competitors will each present a short programme of English composer John Ireland’s fantastic and extensive catalogue. The prize will be judged by Professor Vince Emery, the prize donor, and David Wordsworth, Chairman of the John Ireland Trust.
