‘I have always been fascinated by mathematics. It is absolutely everywhere, including in our thought processes. Tales of the Unaccepted is a series of paintings where mathematical certainty decides the structure of the work to form intuitive landscapes. The mathematical certainties are linear, circular or angular and attempt to question the imagery rather than provide a definitive conclusion as to what is being seen, distancing the viewer from expectation and the ‘safety’ of knowledge.’
