The Awarding Gap Project presents a celebration of Black culture

The Awarding Gap Project is pleased to present Heritage – The Culture Showcase. Join us for an evening showcasing African and Caribbean talent, with live music performances and entertainment.

The Awarding Gap Project is a student-led intervention, overseen by the University of Southampton’s Student Inclusion, aimed at supporting Black and Minoritised students. We are glad to be hosting our 3rd annual cultural celebration this year, with a cultural showcase aimed at acknowledging and highlighting cultural diversity. This dynamic event is going to be a thrilling evening, filled with musical performances, food and interactive entertainment with prizes to be won.

In honour of celebrating and amplifying African and Caribbean heritage, we encourage our guests to come along in their traditional cultural attire or flag representative coloured outfits, should they wish to.
