We welcome Cara Dillon on Friday 25 November, the exceptional Irish vocalist makes a very welcome return for an evening of sparkling classic carols, Celtic hymns and other seasonal songs taken from her highly anticipated first Christmas album Upon a Winter’s Night.

On Thursday 08 December we present Ian and Claire’s Christmas Cracker, featuring Ian Shaw and Claire Martin, expect exquisite seasonal escapism with these two award-winning jazz vocalists, performing the gloss of Fifties Hollywood (Nat Cole, Doris Day, Eartha Kit). The celebrated 1960s Brill Building (Carole King, James Taylor) to the darker spirits of the more contemporary writers (The Pogues, Nick Cave, Joni Mitchell).

Finally on 11 December, a feast of sublime seasonal music awaits with the five female voices of Joglaresa, celebrating Yule with Christmas lullabies, nowells, medieval chants (Nuns Sing of a Rose) and wassails (including the Nuns of Chester Christmas lullaby), all accompanied by fidel, harp, dulcimer and percussion.
