A wild and joyful journey through a collection of songs by three unique and irrepressible voices: Matthew Shlomowitz, Charles Ives, and Jennifer Walshe. These composers are separated by time and distance, but are united by an open-hearted approach to music, experience, and the world itself. From Berlin-based duo Nina Guo and Joseph Houston, this concert is a celebration of that openness and – after the wild abandon of Walshe and the experimental nostalgia of Ives – culminates in the set Four Songs by Matthew Shlomowitz which was premiered by the duo in Berlin in 2025.
