A duet of Guzheng and piano performing Huo Yuanjia, a Chinese-style piece. The Guzheng brings traditional Chinese musical charm, while the piano adds modern dynamics. Together, they create a sharp, powerful, and majestic atmosphere, showcasing the unique beauty of Chinese music through an innovative blend of Eastern and Western instruments.
A 5-piece jazz band performing their own arrangements of jazz tunes in various styles including swing, Cuban, hard-bop, contemporary jazz and Latin-jazz .
Taking inspiration from Neo Soul and Funk genres, and with acrobatic jazz vocals, Mosaic’s sets feature hits from Jamiroquai, RAYE, Yebba, and many more. This energetic 5-piece band, consisting of two vocalists alongside the rhythm section of guitar, keys, bass and drums, bring the sunshine of Neo Soul grooves.
Greyhound’s Leap brings together Luke Russ on guitar and Sunny Angel on double bass to play a mix of skiffle, folk and bluegrass. Named after local landmark St Lucas’ Leap, their music finds inspiration from their childhoods on the coast and in the Purbeck hills.
Taking inspiration from artists such as Laura Marling, Joni Mitchell and Adrianne Lenker and described as ‘…rooted in folk tradition yet undeniably modern. With a clear, bell-like voice, Coralie weaves stories of love, loss and fleeting beauty.’
Blend of Uruguayan folk with indie rock textures in a full rock band setting. The songs focus on storytelling, moving between Spanish poetry and original lyrics in Spanish as well as in English. Influences include Spinetta, Charly Garcia and Arctic Monkeys.
This four piece folk rock band, take inspiration from bands like Big Thief but with a groovier feel from the driving rhythm section, and a set list spanning classic folk into folk pop.
