TURNER SIMS CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

FROM KEVIN APPLEBY, CONCERT HALL MANAGER

Update: Monday 1 March, 2021

The Turner Sims building is closed to the public and visitors for the foreseeable future. We were delighted to be able to welcome audiences to performances in the venue in December for the first time in nine months, and look forward to being able to do so safely again as soon as we are able to.

Whilst the building is closed to public performance, we will shortly be announcing a new programme of online activities and events, bringing both live and recorded music, opportunities for interaction, and guest features and blogs. Do keep up to date with announcements via our website and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). If you have any specific questions concerning forthcoming events please do contact the Box Office via email info@turnersims.co.uk or telephone 07787 285188. We will aim to respond as soon as possible.

Throughout the last year we have been hugely grateful for the support you have shown Turner Sims and those we work with, through donations, kind words, and the enthusiastic responses to what we have done and are hoping to do. If you are interested – and in a position to help us as we plan for the future – please do check out the Support Us page to discover ways in which you can get involved.

On behalf of the whole Turner Sims team, thank you for your understanding at this challenging time. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to the concert hall in person soon.
