An unforgettable evening with two generations of folk royalty.

National treasure Martin Carthy (Mercury Prize nominee 2025) and his twice Mercury nominated daughter Eliza Carthy bring their extraordinary musical bond to life in this special performance.

Martin, whose influence reaches icons like Bob Dylan and Paul Simon, recently celebrated his 84th birthday. He marked the occasion by recording a stunning new solo album. ‘Transform Me Then Into A Fish’ offers a full circle moment, revisiting material from his very first (eponymous) solo record released in 1965.

Eliza, marking her 50th, has been in the studio crafting fresh sounds for her upcoming project, due for release in 2026. ‘Frenemies’ is set to feature many musicians from outside the folk scene that Eliza has previously collaborated with.

Martin and Eliza weave traditional ballads and contemporary gems from their vast family repertoire. Together they showcase their deep connection and individual brilliance.
