Nina Simone was known for her fearless storytelling and genre-defying sound. Her music fused jazz, blues, gospel, and folk into a rich tapestry of liberation, love, and resistance.

A star born of the nurturing pathway of Bristol Beacon’s Music Education hub, Lady Nade is a talented singer song-writer. She weaves Americana, folk and jazz together in her songs and delivering them in her mesmerising voice.

In this vibrant tribute, UK artist she leads a high-energy performance that channels the spirit and soul of Nina Simone. With a voice often likened to Simone’s own – rich, resonant, and deeply emotive – Lady Nade brings fresh life to the songs that moved generations.

Joined by some of the Bristol’s finest jazz musicians, Lady Nade honours Nina Simone not just as a musical pioneer, but as a trailblazer who paved the way for Black women in music. Expect a heartfelt journey through Simone’s most beloved works, reimagined with passion and authenticity.
