Record your next masterpiece in our purpose-built concert hall with superb acoustics.
The excellent sound quality in our auditorium is renowned. Television programme Rock of All Ages for BBC2 was filmed here in September 2021, whilst artists including Denys Baptiste, Cordelia Williams, Slowly Rolling Camera, SOMM Recordings, Nova Foresta Classical Players, and Neil Cowley have all recorded at Turner Sims.
Recording Hire
- Hire includes use of green room and dressing rooms to be used as control rooms
- Hire of the Steinway Grand Piano is extra but charge only applies once, even if it’s a 2/3 day recording
- Additional tunings are extra
- Hirers are required to visit Turner Sims for a site visit prior to recording/filming session to receive health and safety briefing and building tour
- We can recommend contacts for recording equipment or technical support if needed
