Join us as we unveil our January – March 2027 season.
Choose between two free pre-concert events held in the Turner Sims foyer. These intimate events will give you the chance to hear directly from our programming team as they dive into the stories, artists and performances they’re most excited about in the new season.
Capacity is limited, so we recommend booking early if you would like to join us.

Attend the launch before Leon Bosch | I Musicanti feat. Peter Donohoe
At 7:30pm, renowned mixed instrument chamber ensemble I Musicanti, directed by international double bass virtuoso Leon Bosch, perform Schubert’s ‘Trout Quintet’, plus Beethoven and Cramer quartets. They are joined by virtuoso pianist Peter Donohoe.
Season Launch attendees are warmly welcome to stay for the concert, but tickets must be booked separately. Both the Season Launch and the concert can be attended independently.
Friday 9 October, 6.45pm–7.30pm
Attend the launch before Martin Simpson with Liz Hanks and Louis Campbell
At 8pm, the revered guitarist and singer Martin Simpson is joined by the brilliant cellist Liz Hanks and Louis Campbell on guitar. One of England’s most celebrated folk performers, Martin Simpson is one of the finest acoustic and slide guitar players in the world. His interpretations of traditional songs are masterpieces of storytelling. Following his stunning album ‘Skydancer’, (2024), Martin presents music from his latest release, ‘Some Kind of Jubilee’.
Season Launch attendees are warmly welcome to stay for the concert, but tickets must be booked separately. Both the Season Launch and the concert can be attended independently.

Timings
5:30pm – 6:00pm: Arrival and welcome. Bar open.
6:00pm – 6:50pm: Season Launch presentation in the foyer
6:50pm – 7:30pm: Meet the team and mingle in the foyer. Enjoy a drink from the bar and chat with Turner Sims staff before the evening’s concert.
