Immerse yourself with the sounds of the marine environment in this special electronic music night.
‘Marine Remixed’ is a sonic experiment that will see young people from the Music Production Collective and Mix’zine (Southampton and IOW Music) as well as from the wider local scene, remix ocean recordings with elements of Turner Sims’ brand new commissioned piece, ‘The Ocean Remembers’.
Alongside tracks from local producers, we’re delighted to announce three special guests will be performing sets throughout the night.
This evening of live performances is curated and promoted by the Turner Sims Assistant Producers.

Meet the Artists
A dynamic artist taking over the jazz-rap scene, Baby Panna brings a rare and authentic energy to a genre that thrives on expression. His poetic style seamlessly blends rap and jazz, with a combination of sharp lyricism, infectious beats and intimate stage presence. He has been working with Jason Singh on The Ocean Remembers, taking inspiration from the work of four marine researchers.
Lorenza Marino is an Italian-Zambian Artist fusing music from her diverse upbringing, to create a unique Mediterranean and African sound through her lyrics, melodies and rhythms.
Ruairidh uses the electric signals of plants to create live dance music. Specialised equipment reads voltage changes within plants and allows nature to communicate through sound via a process called biosonification.
