The Vibe Lounge | Karob
Join us for The Vibe Lounge, a 40-minute free performance in our intimate foyer space, taking place just before the concert in the main auditorium.
DJ, producer and audio engineer Karob (Kartik Prakash) blends progressive house, melodic techno and deep electronic textures into immersive, emotionally driven sets. Influenced by artists such as Ben Böhmer, Deadmau5 and Maceo Plex, Karob’s sound is defined by warm pads, melancholic melodies and hypnotic grooves.
He previously served as a resident DJ for So:Tech in Southampton, helping shape nights centred around forward-thinking electronic music. Opening ahead of Sarathy Korwar, Karob will take a special turn — weaving old Hindi disco with progressive and melodic electronic world sounds, creating a unique cross-cultural warm-up.

About The Vibe
The Vibe Lounge is programmed by Turner Sims Assistant Producers – young creatives aged 18-25, based in Southampton. The Assistant Producers are part of Turner Sims’ year-round programme to support young people into careers in the music industry.
