Join the London Rhymes team for this song explosion of a show, presenting highly original, eclectic and interactive songs that have been co-written with families since 2015.

Fresh from sellout shows at Southbank Centre’s Imagine Festival and Wigmore Hall, Rhymes LIVE! brings together the talents of five incredible musicians (voice, flute, trombone, guitar, handpan and percussion). The show will take the whole family on an exciting musical adventure, meeting instruments, sounds, songs, colours and a few animals along the way…

Recommended for children aged 0 – 8 plus grown ups!

Rhymes LIVE! Singing Workshop

Before you take your seats for Rhymes LIVE! join the musicians in the foyer to learn some songs from the show. Warm up your voices and learn the words so that you are ready to join the band!

This workshop is for the audience of Rhymes LIVE! to learn some songs before the show. Therefore, ticket holders for the 12pm show should attend the 11.30am workshop, and ticket holders for the 2.30pm show should attend the 2pm workshop. Although you don’t need to book for this workshop you will need to show your ticket for the Rhymes LIVE! performance.

London Rhymes has been reimagining and reinventing the ‘nursery rhyme’ since 2015, with an ever-expanding collection of original songs co-written with families and young children. Working particularly with those facing challenges such as insecure housing or poor mental health, the music created is original, eclectic and in a diverse range of styles, offering something different for those looking for beautiful, fun and original music to listen to and sing at home. They release their music online, as well as performing ‘Rhymes LIVE!’ for families and schools up and down the country. The London Rhymes team are often commissioned to write new songs for schools and Early Years settings, and were winners at the Music & Drama Education Awards 2022 for ‘Excellence in Primary & Early Years’.
