A leading act on the Nordic music scene, Frigg are back with music from their latest album Frost on Fiddles. Their fiddle-founded Nordgrass sound – a mix of Nordic folk and bluegrass, produces possibly the most exciting, uplifting, and hip-twitching music in the Northern Hemisphere. Don’t miss this swirling blizzard of jigs, reels, polskas and bluegrass inventions. Scandomusic as good as it gets!

Living dangerously, taking harmonic liberties, infecting the listener with the Finnish equivalent of a tarantula bite and making them weep with a deep Nordic melancholy. Outstanding music making. Songlines *****

A wonderful outfit – seven artists and when they combine their talents the music is stunning. Amazing – I can’t help but sit back and throw up my arms in admiration – fabulous stuff. BBC Radio Wales
